Trademark Office Update – Qatar

The Trademark Office in Qatar has announced that all trademark applications filed under the Madrid Protocol will now be published locally on the Ministry’s official website.
The first publication took place on 1 October 2025, marking the launch of the first local gazette for Madrid Protocol applications issued by the Qatari Office. The publication can be viewed on the Ministry’s website.
Please note that the local publication date serves as the official starting date for filing oppositions, which must be submitted within 60 days of this date.
Additionally, the Department will issue a monthly electronic gazette listing all accepted Madrid Protocol applications.
