The Trademark Office at the Ministry of Economy and Trade in Lebanon has recently introduced a simplified procedure for recording the assignment of trademark ownership.
Under the new system:
The owners are exempt from submitting the original registration certificate and from obtaining a new certificate when recording the trademark assignment of ownership.
