We would like to inform our valued clients and partners of an important regulatory update issued by the Trademark Office in Sana’a, Yemen.
Effective immediately, any Power of Attorney (POA) submitted to the Trademark Office must be legalized at the Yemeni Embassy. Please note that general POAs previously legalized will no longer be accepted unless each individual POA is separately legalized at the Embassy.
Additionally, to ensure broader coverage of representation, we recommend that all upcoming POAs include the phrase: “and for all subsequent works.”
This addition will help ensure the POA is comprehensive and not limited to a specific action or time period.
