Gaza Strip: Administrative Decision – Extension of Renewal Period for Trademark Registrations

Following our circular dated 30 July 2026, we wish to inform you that the Trademark Registrar in Gaza issued an administrative decision on 10 August 2026, granting an additional one-month extension for the renewal of expired trademarks without the imposition of late renewal penalties.
Accordingly, the period during which expired trademarks may be renewed without late renewal fees has been extended as follows:
Extended Renewal Period: 11 August 2026 – 10 September 2026
The extension has been granted pursuant to the powers vested in the relevant authority under Article 46 of the Trademark Law and in accordance with the applicable procedures governing the work of the Trademark Registrar.
Trademark owners and their representatives who have pending renewals are encouraged to take advantage of this extended period and complete the necessary renewal formalities before 10 September 2026.
